Luna Hut
Luna beach hut is full of charm with an eccentric, bohemian style. Luna inspires a laid back vibe and invites guests to relax fully in style and luxury with everything taken care of so that you can enjoy your day at the beach.
Luna is located right on the sand at Walton-on-the-Naze’s Eastcliff beach. Eastcliff’s fine sand and pebbles hide hidden treasure; it is one of the best places in the UK for finding sharks teeth, including, very occasionally, the teeth of the enormous at least 2.5 million year old Megalodon! Are you brave enough to find one?

Are we nearly there yet?
Luna is hut 352 on the front row at Eastcliff, which is the Naze end of Walton-on-the-Naze. Luna has a small step down to the sandy beach from the path in front.
Parking
Parking is free on the roads around the hut. If you are early enough you can park at East Terrace post code CO14 8JX . If not, there is good parking along Cliff Parade CO14 8HX. Generally the earlier you are there the better the parking!
Tide Times
The tide does not come all the way in at Eastcliff, so Luna benefits from having beach space all day. At high tide the beach can reduce to about 4m. If you want to ‘claim’ the beach right in front of the hut you will need to get there early. Many put out windbreaks and chairs to secure it (please note a few times a year at very high tide, the water can come up to the path).
Amenities
The Last Fisherman Café, is 8 huts away.
The toilets are to the left of the hut (looking out at sea) and are a 5 minute walk.
Maximum Occupancy
For the benefit of other hut users and also due to licence conditions, no more than 6 people can be using the hut at any time in and out of the hut. We welcome a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs and there is a water bowl provided.
What You Will Find
The hut has 6 padded camp style chairs (suitable up to 26 stone), 2 kids chairs, two tables, a parasol, windbreaks, and lots of beach toys. You will also find a kettle, stove, mugs, cups, plates, bowls, cutlery, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cup a soup, sugar, ketchup, vinegar, salt and milk sachets in the kitchenette, along with some biscuits to enjoy with a cup of tea when you arrive.
What You Need
We would recommend taking your own water for the kettle and washing up but a water tap can be found by turning left out of the hut at the top of the first set of steps. Do not forget your towels and sun cream!
